This apprenticeship is designed for NHS staff who support the learning and development of others, including those involved in:

  • Clinical supervision

  • Student placement coordination

  • CPD delivery

  • Mentoring and preceptorships

Programme Structure

Delivered over 18 months (plus a 3-month End Point Assessment), the programme combines:

  • Monthly Workshops

  • Contextualised NHS Workshops (equity, inclusion, placements, AI in education)

  • One-to-One Coaching

  • E-Portfolio & Resources

  • End Point Assessment Preparation

This structure ensures learning is applied directly to practice, supporting both individual development and workforce capacity.

Apprentices work towards the national Learning and Skills Teacher apprenticeship standard, covering:
